The Quectel 5G RM520N-GL module kit is designed for use with the Raspberry Pi minicomputer. It guarantees multi-band frequency support, making the device suitable for use in countries and regions such as China, Japan, South Korea, Europe and the Middle East. It supports 5G SA or NSA networks and is backward compatible with 4G and 3G networks. The RM520N-GL supports GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo and QZSS positioning and communication with cloud-based devices. It is operated using AT commands.

The base board is equipped with an M2 connector, allowing connection to various 4G or 5G communication modules with an M2 connector. The board also features a USB 3.1 port, audio jack, decoder and two SIM card slots. The kit is connected to the Raspberry Pi via a standard 40-pin connector.

An enclosure, antennas and cooling fan are included. The enclosure has universal mounts that allow the unit to be mounted on a wall or DIN rail. Full documentation is available on the product wiki page.
