The Waveshare RS232 module is a UART - RS232 converter based on the SP3232 system. It allows to connect to microcontrollers supplied with both 3.3V and 5V voltage, devices with RS232 interface, e.g. a computer. The module has a DB9 connector, ESD protection and supports hardware flow control.
