The STM32MP257F-EV1 is an advanced evaluation kit designed to demonstrate the capabilities of the STM32MP257F application processor from the STM32MP2 family by STMicroelectronics. The platform targets the development of embedded systems that require high computational performance, extensive communication interfaces, and support for Linux-class operating systems as well as real-time solutions.
The board is based on the STM32MP257F processor, which integrates Arm Cortex-A35 application cores together with an Arm Cortex-M33 real-time core. This architecture enables simultaneous execution of high-level applications and deterministic real-time tasks, supporting the design of heterogeneous systems where both performance and real-time control are required.
The evaluation kit is equipped with numerous interfaces, including Ethernet, USB, HDMI, MIPI, mass storage interfaces, and expansion connectors. This hardware configuration facilitates integration with external devices and testing of various application scenarios. Multimedia features such as video output and camera support enable use in HMI systems, visualization platforms, and industrial and IoT applications. The evaluation board provides a complete environment for hardware evaluation, prototyping, and software development.
