I/O port expander 16-channel module controlled by the I2C interface. It was based on the Microchip MCP23017 chip. Each IO pin can be configured as input or output. The maximum output current should not exceed 25 mA, and the pins are compatible with voltages of 3.3 V and 5 V. The module has 3 address jumpers that allow you to select 8 different addresses, so you can connect up to 8 modules to one I2C interface.
