The PCIe HAT+ for Raspberry Pi 5 enables the simultaneous connection of two M.2 NVMe SSDs (PCIe x1 Gen2) in 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 formats. Utilizing the 16-pin PCIe interface, it supports fast data transfer up to 5 Gb/s and allows the system to boot directly from the SSDs. The module includes a power monitoring circuit and an EEPROM compliant with the HAT+ standard, enabling system-level identification of the board. Two LED indicators display device activity.
