The ACS71240 current sensor module is a modern solution based on the Hall effect, providing electrical isolation of the current path. With a low conduction path resistance (0.6 mΩ) and 2 oz copper layers, energy losses are minimized.
The sensor provides a wide-band analog output (up to 120 kHz) proportional to AC or DC current, with a response time of less than 5 µs. A unique feature of this model is its voltage output independent of supply voltage, ensuring resistance to interference. The built-in overcurrent detection function with a 1.5 µs response time allows for rapid short-circuit detection and system protection.
