Module with an analog MQ9 carbon monoxide and combustible gas sensor. Carbon monoxide (most often called carbon monoxide) is a gas that is colorless, odorless, tasteless and extremely poisonous. Due to these properties, carbon monoxide is difficult to detect without a specialized device. With the help of the module with the MQ9 sensor, it is possible to build a portable detector that will detect CO in our environment. Additionally, the MQ9 sensor can detect flammable gases such as methane and propane. The module is powered with 5 V and has an analog output (Gravity connector) proportional to the measured concentration. The sensor is characterized by high sensitivity regulated by a potentiometer and can measure the concentration of CO in the range from 20 to 2000 ppm and the concentration of combustible gases in the range of 100 to 10,000 ppm.
