The BME680 sensor module is an integrated gas, pressure, temperature and humidity sensor placed in one MEMS housing. The system can be supplied with a voltage of 1.7-3.6 V. It is equipped with two communication interfaces: I2C and SPI. BME680 has been especially developed for mobile applications and wearables, where size and low energy consumption are key requirements.
The BME680 gas sensor can detect a wide range of gases for measuring air quality. Gases that BME680 can detect are volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from paints (such as formaldehyde), varnishes, paint strippers, cleaners, furniture, office equipment, adhesives, adhesives and alcohol.
