Description

The module uses the BQ24295 charger controller designed for charging single-cell lithium-ion and lithium-polymer batteries. The IC implements CC/CV charging with constant-current and constant-voltage stages, while the maximum charging current reaches 3 A. The wide input voltage range from 4.35 V to 17 V allows the board to be powered from various sources, including USB ports and suitable power adapters.

Integrated power path management allows the battery to be charged while simultaneously powering the connected circuit, reducing interruptions in operation when an external power source is available. The board features Qwiic connectors and a 5 V USB output, making it suitable for portable systems powered by a single Li-Ion or Li-Pol cell, mobile devices and projects requiring battery-backed power.
