The module is designed for easy and reliable switching between two different power sources. It ensures safe use of two power sources (with voltage from 1.6 to 5.5 V) without the risk of damaging components. Adafruit 5830
The Adafruit LM66200 Dual Ideal Diode module is an intelligent solution for projects requiring support for two power sources. Designed to easily and reliably switch between two different power supplies, this ideal diode module is a compact solution for applications where reliability, energy efficiency and ease of use are key.
This solution is particularly useful in projects where two power sources are required, such as a battery, DC socket or USB. Adafruit LM66200 allows you to seamlessly switch between them, providing back-voltage protection. It ensures safe use of two power sources without the risk of damaging components. RdsOn of 40 milliohms guarantees minimal voltage drop, which is important in projects with low energy consumption.
Simple operation of the module involves connecting two power sources (with a voltage of 1.6 to 5.5 V) to the Vin1 and Vin2 pins. The higher voltage of the two sources will appear on the Vout pin. The output can be easily disabled by pulling up the On/Enable pin. The module status can be monitored via the Status pin. Thanks to its compact size and breadboard-friendly output, this module is easy to integrate into a variety of projects.
