Description
Prototyping platform Nordic nRF54L15 Tag is designed for rapid development of asset tags, Bluetooth trackers, remote controls, wearables, and other low-power wireless devices. It is based on the nRF54L15 SoC with a 128MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor, 1.5MB NVM, and 256KB RAM. Dual 2.4GHz antennas improve robustness when using Bluetooth Channel Sounding, making the platform suitable for applications targeting Google Find Hub and Apple Find My networks.
Sensor system enables motion detection, environmental monitoring, sensor fusion, and Edge AI applications. The board integrates a low-power Analog Devices ADXL367 accelerometer, a Bosch BMI270 6-axis IMU with accelerometer and gyroscope, and a Bosch BME688 environmental sensor for measuring temperature, humidity, air pressure, and gas concentration. A programmable RGB LED and user button are also available, together with footprints for additional components.
Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth Low Energy, Bluetooth Channel Sounding, Bluetooth Mesh, Matter, Thread, Zigbee, Aliro, Amazon Sidewalk, NFC, and proprietary 2.4GHz protocols. The platform is powered by a CR2032 coin-cell battery and supports OTA-DFU firmware updates. Programming and debugging can be performed using compatible Nordic development kits or a SEGGER J-Link debugger, while software development is supported by the nRF Connect SDK and nRF Edge AI Add-on.
