Description

The D45V1Ex module is a high-efficiency buck (step-down) voltage regulator that lowers the input voltage to 5 V with a maximum output current of 100 mA. It is a switching regulator (SMPS) characterized by an extremely low quiescent current (below 20 μA), ensuring high efficiency even under light loads. This makes it more energy-efficient than traditional linear regulators. The regulator supports an input voltage range of 5 V to 65 V, with the minimum voltage depending on the voltage drop at a given load. The device features a Power Good (PGOOD) function, which signals correct output voltage, and an EN input that allows the circuit to be disabled, entering a low-power mode (approximately 5 μA in sleep mode). Additionally, a low-voltage threshold can be set using an external resistor. The module is equipped with short-circuit and over-temperature protection, ensuring high reliability.
