Description

Waveshare 33167 is a development board designed for creating user interfaces, control systems, and industrial and embedded applications. The device is based on the RP2350 microcontroller, which features a unique dual-core and dual-architecture design, allowing operation on either ARM Cortex-M33 cores or Hazard3 RISC-V cores. This enables flexible selection of the development environment according to project requirements.

The board is equipped with a 4.3-inch IPS capacitive touch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 and a color depth of 65K, providing wide viewing angles and smooth user interface operation. The display supports 5-point capacitive touch with communication via the I2C bus and interrupt support, enabling the creation of advanced HMI interfaces.

Integrated CAN, RS485 and I2C communication interfaces, as well as isolated digital inputs and outputs, allow easy integration with sensors, actuators and automation systems. Support for active and passive digital inputs, as well as optically isolated digital outputs, enables operation in industrial environments.

The device supports a wide power supply voltage range from 7 V to 36 V DC and includes a built-in lithium battery charging circuit. The applied plastic enclosure facilitates installation in end applications and increases the mechanical durability of the device.

The board supports programming in C/C++, MicroPython and using the Arduino IDE, offering extensive documentation resources and examples to enable quick startup.
