Dual-channel Makerbase ODrive V3.6 controller for three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motors, using Field-Oriented Control (FOC). Supports two independent drives, a 12 V to 56 V DC power supply, and position, speed and torque control. Provides USB, UART, CAN and STEP/DIR interfaces for integration with robotic systems and automation equipment. Makerbase MKS ODrive V3.6
The Makerbase MKS ODrive V3.6 dual-channel controller supports two three-phase brushless DC (BLDC) motors, using Field-Oriented Control (FOC). The controller enables independent position, speed and torque regulation for both drives. Its design is based on the ODrive platform and operates with a 12 V to 56 V DC supply voltage. The board provides two motor control channels and interfaces for connecting position sensors.

Building mobile robots enables independent control and synchronization of wheel drives. Designing positioning mechanisms allows BLDC motors to be used in systems requiring shaft position control. Developing CNC machine drives enables two-axis motion control through STEP/DIR signals or communication with a higher-level controller. FOC control regulates motor phase currents according to rotor position, supporting closed-loop operation.
The micro USB connector provides communication with a computer and allows controller parameters to be configured. UART and CAN interfaces enable data exchange with external control systems, while encoder inputs allow position sensors to be connected to the drives. The board includes power and motor phase connectors, as well as control signal pins. The kit includes a braking resistor, heatsinks and mounting hardware.
