ESP32-S3 PowerFeather is a modern, energy-efficient IoT development board in the Feather form factor, designed to work with Li-Ion/LiPo battery power as well as solar panels. It is intended for creating mobile or remote devices that require reliable and flexible power management. At its core is a ESP32-S3 module with a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at 240 MHz, providing high computational power and support for Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth 5 LE + Mesh. Thanks to its intelligent power management system, the board offers very low current consumption — in deep sleep mode it can be as low as 18 µA. The integrated charging and power monitoring circuit allows real-time measurement of voltage, current, temperature, and battery status. Users can easily control charging, set maximum charging current, and monitor battery health and capacity.

The board supports direct solar panel power input up to 18 V, with configurable maximum power point (MPP) voltage, allowing efficient use of renewable energy. ESP32-S3 PowerFeather is fully compatible with the FeatherWing ecosystem and STEMMA QT modules, enabling rapid prototyping and expansion of functionality. It supports programming in Arduino and ESP-IDF SDK, offering flexibility for both beginners and advanced developers.
