Description
The board features the RP2040 microcontroller designed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation. The chip has two ARM Cortex M0+ cores running at up to 133 MHz and 264 kB of RAM. The microcontroller is not equipped with Flash memory, but there is a 2 MB external memory connected via QSPI interface on the board.
On the board, in addition to the RP2040 chip and Flash memory, the user will find a 3.3V voltage stabilizer, Boot and Reset buttons, an LED, a USB type C connector for powering and programming the module, and 8 GPIO outputs, where peripherals such as ADC inputs, I2C, SPI and UART interfaces are brought out. The pins are available on gold-plated SMT pads. The platform supports the popular MicroPython, CircuitPython and C/C++ programming languages, and allows programming with Arduino and Mind+.
