Description

PCIe to 4-Ch 2.5G ETH Board (B) is designed to expand Raspberry Pi 5 with four independent 2.5G Ethernet network ports. The connection is established via the 16-pin PCIe interface of Raspberry Pi 5, enabling stable and parallel data transmission without loading the USB bus, even at increased network throughput.

The module operates in plug and play mode and does not require driver installation under Raspberry Pi OS. The integrated RTL8156 Ethernet controller and VL805 expansion chip provide support for 10/100/1000/2500 Mb/s standards on each RJ45 port. Power is supplied directly through the PCIe interface, eliminating the need for an additional power source.

This solution is suitable for building high-performance software routers, firewalls, home servers, NAS systems, edge devices, and test environments where multi-port Ethernet connectivity with increased bandwidth is required in a compact form factor.
