An IMU module that adds a full 9-axis sensor suite to Feather boards for motion and orientation measurement. It combines an accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, providing stable and accurate data ideal for robotics, stabilization, wearables, and 3D motion analysis. The module communicates via I2C and features a STEMMA QT port for easy integration and solderless connection of additional sensors. Adafruit 4565
The LSM6DSOX + LIS3MDL FeatherWing is an advanced expansion module that equips any Feather board with a precise 9-axis motion sensing system. It combines a modern accelerometer and gyroscope with a sensitive magnetometer, providing a complete set of orientation data. This makes it ideal for projects requiring accurate position, motion, and direction tracking, such as robotics, stabilization systems, or wearable devices.
The LSM6DSOX sensor features exceptionally low noise and drift, ensuring stable and reliable measurements. The LIS3MDL magnetometer allows orientation relative to magnetic north, significantly expanding motion-analysis capabilities. The module communicates via I2C, making it compatible with virtually any Feather board, while the additional STEMMA QT port enables quick, solder-free connection of other I2C sensors. The board also includes interrupt pin breakouts and address-selection jumpers for easier integration into more complex systems.
With ready-to-use Arduino and CircuitPython libraries, setup takes just moments. The device is designed for high reliability, and four mounting holes ensure secure installation. It is an excellent choice for rapid prototyping and projects requiring precise 3D motion data.
