Pimoroni Pico LiPo 2 XL W PIM776 is an extended development board with the RP2350B, offering Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 16 MB of flash memory and 8 MB of PSRAM. Thanks to its 40 GPIO pins, integrated LiPo charging system and numerous interfaces, it works well in advanced IoT projects and battery-powered systems.
Description
An extended version of the development board with the RP2350B microcontroller, equipped with the Raspberry Pi Radio Module 2 providing 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. Integrated LiPo/Li-Ion battery support with the MCP73831 charging system and XB6096I2S protection enables direct battery power and charging via USB-C. The board includes 16 MB of QSPI flash memory, 8 MB of PSRAM, POWER and BOOT buttons, LEDs indicating power and charging status, and a JST PH connector for attaching a battery.
The board offers 40 GPIO pins arranged in two rows of 30 pins, making it suitable for more complex projects. The Qw/ST connector simplifies connecting I2C modules, the SP/CE connector enables SPI/UART communication, and the 3-pin JST-SH debugging connector provides access to the SWD interface. Compatibility with Raspberry Pi Pico add-ons requires placing them near the USB port due to the extended board design.
