The SIM7600E LTE Cat-1 HAT is a module that extends the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi to communicate over GSM/GPRS cellular networks. It uses Simcom's SIM7600E chip, and with it it is possible to make and receive calls (it is possible to attach a microphone and headphones via a jack socket), send and receive SMS messages, and use wireless Internet. It also has built-in support for positioning within GPS, BeiDou, Glonass, GALILEO, QZSS navigation systems. The module is controlled by AT commands via the UART of the Raspberry Pi computer. It has rich support in the form of libraries for Raspberry Pi, Arduino, STM32.
